Rural African villages
were my favorite hideouts.

Here, one village is in the
middle of a desert, and
I could not help but think
that Wyatt Earp was
lurking in one of those
houses.

The other village is in a
lush green environment.
The grass-roofed,
mud-walled houses are
VERY comfortable. They
are cool in the heat, and
sheltered and warm in the
cool nights. I liked living
in those houses the best.
