Elections and Voting

Optional Paper Topic

Due the last day of class. Five pages total. This is a thinking essay. To obtain background information, you may refer to your text books, search the Internet, or go to the library, as needed. However, formal references are not required unless you are doing this for the writing requirement. If you are doing this for the writing requirement, you need ten pages plus six outside sources for reference, all from the library. Normal reference style applies. Double spaced, normal margins. If the paper is for the writing requirement, be sure to state this on the cover page (in large bold letters).

Be a political pundit! Analyze the current primary elections for both parties. Choose any angle you desire, but be sure to approach the paper from a theoretical perspective that addresses topics that have been covered in class. Don't be shallow. Be clear in your thought. Think DEEP thoughts. Be a pundit!
